Dr. Bora Bagis was the Head of the Department of Prosthodontics at Izmir Democracy University and
Dean of the Faculty until August 2021. He is now treating his patients in his private clinic. Dr. Bagis is a member of the European Prosthodontic Association and Constituent member of the International College of Prosthodontists. He has authored more than 100 scientific articles inpeer-reviewed journals and more than 100 poster/oral presentations in the international and national scientific congresses. Dr. Bagis was a visiting scientist in Finland (Turku University 2006, 2007) and Holland (University of Groningen 2008). Dr. Bagis was invited speaker in more than 20 national and/or international scientific organizations and he also serves for the editorial boards of several scientific journals.
Dr. Bagis is one of the translation editors of a book and chapter editor of three other books. His clinical
expertise is on prosthodontics: implant dentistry, adhesive dentistry, digital dentistry and esthetics.
